STORE: T23E3 Nomad

“We are not alone!”

This phrase sparks excitement and fear at the same time. What if we were to meet a mysterious guest from an outer space right now? A machine, a lone wolf in a UFO-like cloak, wandering around the universe without any purpose but to annihilate its opponents. Nobody knows its intentions or which side it would take if an intergalactic conflict emerged. All we know is that they call him T23E3 Nomad!

A little bit of history

The vehicle’s development process started in April 1943. The first prototype was manufactured in August 1944. The E3 variant, unlike its predecessor the T23, featured a torsion-bar suspension. Unfortunately, the tank has never entered mass production nor saw combat.

However, this mysterious tank has found its way to Blitz’s battlefields! If you are curious what to expect from it, just have a look below.

If you are familiar with the American medium tanks, especially T20 and M26 Pershing, then you will feel like at home in the T23E3. As with almost every vehicle in this line, the tank is a jack-of-all-trades but a master-of-none. In other words, it performs well in any given situation but it’s not the best at anything.

The armour of the tank is quite thin, however, it’s pretty well-angled. It might pull off occasional bounces but, as in other American medium tanks, don’t rely on it too much.

A real strength of the tank is its excellent gun depression. Therefore, you should use it to your advantage. Try to place yourself on sloping terrain and ridgelines to make the most out of it. This will also be beneficial for your survival ratio – the less of the armour you show, the less is a chance of being hit and, eventually, destroyed.

Paired with the gun depression comes a gun – the 76 mm T91A cannon. It features a very high rate of fire, great aiming time and good accuracy. With such parameters, hitting most of the shots on the move comes with ease, even at medium range.

The tank is quite mobile, which makes it a capable flanker and supporter. It also performs really well in peek-a-boo tactics on ridgelines – expose your turret, shoot and hide. Its playstyle resembles the Comet a lot.

Overall, the vehicle is quite tricky to master, but in the hands of an experienced tanker, it will wreak havoc on the battlefield!

The mysterious guest will be available from 1 July at 12:00 until 15 July at 11:00 CEST (UTC+2). Get it now and make it feel like at home on the battlefield!
