Recently we asked the following question on Facebook:
"The world’s first tank was built where and by which company?"
"The world’s first tank was built in Great Britain. It was a reply to “The Riddle of the Trenches” – the problem of how to break the stalemate of trench warfare. This was successfully solved by William Foster and Co of Lincoln, who then went on to develop the TOG II* in the Second World War, although to less success. Check out our article on the birthplace of the tank on the World of Tanks portal."
Well done if you knew the answer too!
